A Cal Fan Asks For Your Help

Full Disclosure:  I'm a Cal fan.  A big one.  I know lots of UCLA fans probably dont' like Cal; I certainly know lots of Cal fans who don't like UCLA.  I also need to admit that I think Reeves Nelson has ugly tattoos.  But that aside, I have always felt that Cal and UCLA have a strong bond around our respective rivals.  Nobody likes Stanfurd.  And while we may not have to share a city with U$C, I assure you we hate them.  A lot.

So that brings me to my request.  See, the Pac-10 basketball tournament is in LA, and that means UCLA and U$C will once again have home-court advantage of sorts.  I'm sure Arizona will bring 45,000 annoying fans to Staples, most of whom are from LA but couldn't get in to UCLA.  I'm sure Washington will bring 20,000 fans from Seattle who just have nothing else to do and haven't seen the sun in months.  But for the most part, I'm thinking the majority of fans will be UCLA and U$C, and that worries me.  Because we're playing U$C.

Normally, that wouldn't worry me.  U$C doesn't really have basketball fans.  But this year, they're actually playing well and they have an outside chance at even making the NCAA tournament.  We need to stop this.

So please, UCLA fans, if you attend this game, please help us out.  Give us some crowd support.  Make some noise when they're on offense.  Wave balloons at them when they shoot free throws.  Throw dollar bills at them.  I promise you we'll return the favor for you.  If you guys ever played Stanfurd at the Oakland Coliseum, we'd be doing 8-claps every 5 minutes.

And if you're thinking you dislike Cal too much to support us, maybe picture Nikola Vucevich and Mark Sanchez hitting on your sister.  Or Pete Caroll high-fiving Matt Leinart.  Or Tim Floyd and OJ Mayo laughing at you because even though you play by the rules and they do nothing but cheat, they're rich and you still can't afford to try a burger at Father's Office.

Together, we can quickly send U$C to the NIT.  Isn't that where they belong?
