Around SBN: Veterans Share Their Favorite Sports Memories

My newest favorite Bronco ever (!) answers some questions about his time at U.C.L.A., his chance to play alongside future HOF'ers Brian Dawkins and Champ Bailey, and his long term plans in Denver. Best part, he plans to return to Westwood to finish his degree.

Welcome, Rahim. I can't wait to to be cheering for you from the South Stands!

I've been a Broncos fan since childhood

My grandparents lived here when I was growing up in Cali, and they brainwashed me early with a Craig Morton jersey and their love for all things orange. We’ve had season seats in the South Stands since ’98, although the South Stands now (as well as the whole stadium) are absolutely worthless and pathetic compared to the awesome passion and insanity of the section in the old Mile High.

As for Mile High Report, it’s a good blog and I scan it from time to time, but I’ve never posted there and so I’ve never registered. I get my fill of Broncos talk from the local sports radio, and my wife would kill me if I were spending more time on another blog. And though I love the Broncos and the Avs, U.C.L.A. will always by my heart and soul, so I just focus here.

As a Niner fan, I'm basically indifferent to the Broncos

But I’m so happy for Rahim and wish him all the best in the world. It’s awesome that he gets to play in a team relatively close to California, so that his family should be able to make it to more games. He’ll definitely be a player I’m rooting for in the NFL.
