RIP Carl Kraushaar, Wooden's First Bruin Center

Carl Kraushaar, the first center to play for John Wooden in Westwood, passed away today at the age of 84. Kraushaar was on Wooden's squad for two years, from 1948 to 1950. He was the leading scorer for the 1948-49 squad, named all-conference, and led the Bruins to their first NCAA tournament appearance in school history (if only he knew what the future held). Rest in peace Carl. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. GO BRUINS
