U$C's starting point guard is out for the season

Much as we deride U$C, let's have some sympathy for two Trojan basketball players who are suddenly out for the season. Starting point guard Jio Fontan tore ligaments in his left knee during an exhibition game, and reserve forward Curtis Washington tore the labrum in his left shoulder (Left wingers don't last long at U$C).

Fontan's loss is a major blow to a team that was determined to reach 20 wins en route to an NIT appearance.
