AD Dan has message on Basketball home games
Busing to the Sports Arena:
"Those fans who don't want to drive to the games can catch a ride on the bus service that has been arranged for all 19 of our home games. Fans will have the ability to park for free at Jackie Robinson Stadium, where the Bruin baseball team plays, and ride special buses to and from the basketball game for just $16 per person per game. The bus tickets should be purchased at least 48 hours prior to game day from the UCLA Ticket Office. We will be sending out more details about the bus plan as they become available. "

I really hope
they aren’t going to charge the students $16/game to ride a bus to a home game for their school. For the general public, I completely understand having to cover the costs of the bus service. Do I expect students to be able to ride for free or even half price? Not with this athletic department, sadly.
Roses are red, violets are blue...f*** $C.
It doesn't say where they leave from
but students can ride the bus service to games for free.
Why aren't there buses that leave closer to campus?
Jackie Robinson is a bit of a long walk. I know some of us were spoiled by having Pauley to be in such close proximity but a majority of the student population does not have cars. This sort of distance can deter what can be perceived as a fairly uninspired student fan base.
On second thought, I guess all the construction work by the dorms is seriously hurting traffic up there. There has to be a better solution though.
hmm after reading Chris09's comment
I realize I misinterpreted this news as being the bus for students.
