OT: Closer to pro football in LA?
Yeah, I know the USC Trogans have been essentially a pro team in terms of payroll, but it'll be nice to see LA get a real pro team again :-)

I'm not sure that a new stadium would automatically mean a team would materialize.
Al Davis might move back, but would the proprietors of the stadium be willing to enter into a contract with someone who’s been brain dead for several decades?
If I still were in LA, I would attend about as many LA Whatevers games as I attend Bucs games, which is zero. It just costs too much money. I think the cheapest ticket for a Bucs game is $35.00, and the seats are worse than what Ananias Harlan had in mind for the Den. The Bucs would probably be a more entertaining product than whatever team is doing so horribly that they want to move to LA.
But more power to them. A nice shot in the arm for the local economy, especially towing companies who haul away the cars that stall out in the monumental traffic jam at the first Monday Night game.
