I guess we'll have to see how our line will do with his back up.

Also, sounds like Capella will start at center and Ward will slide into the RG slot. Baca’s possible return might create some additional shuffling. Let’s hope this helps the team in the long run, but it’s very disappointing to see a team leader get suspended.

He’s supposed to set a positive example for the younger guys. I hope he’ll be a bit more wary with the cheeba usage.
I know nothing is guaranteed, but at least it’s not a tougher (on paper) opponent this week. The younger/more inexperienced guys can get some more solid game time reps which could be beneficial to the line’s confidence.
It is unfortunate he broke a rule...
and he should set a positive example by adhering to rules, but what a ridiculous rule it is. It’s ok to drink 24 beers, do 6 jager shots and sleep in your own vomit, but you are suspended for smoking a little grass. I know which one I would rather my child choose.
Bummer...
Kai is supposed to be a leader on this team. He can’t take a break from the stuff until the season is over? We should be in good shape for the game against San Jose State but he needs to put his teammates before his own interests.
