Around SBN: Eden Hazard In London For Medical, According To Reports

Well here's a doozy. Baron Davis popped in during elite recruit Kyle Anderson's official visit at St. John's to tell him what a great coach Steve Lavin is. Yes, the same Baron Davis. Kris Johnson and possibly other ex-Bruins were also involved in the magical weekend "reunion."

From Anderson: "Baron talked about Coach Lav, how he helped him get to where he is today."

Would that be an overweight, overpaid, lazy cap-killer who's never won anything? I wouldn't normally get worked up about a Bruin helping out his former coach, even if it is against UCLA, but this is so disingenuous of Baron given what he's said about that same coach in public not too long ago.

I think

he meant Todd Ramazar

Right

That’s what I believe as well but want to make sure. Also, bluebland where did you get that info? Is that linked somewhere about those former “Bruins” dining with Lavin.

Salazar

sounds so much more devious though!

But hey, what do I know. I’m just the 800 lbs bruin in the room.

Yeah it's Ramazar, my bad

And that info is not from a linked source, but what I’ve heard by mouth about this last weekend. Should probably remove it…tho Moose Bailey I believe is being hired or has already been hired on SJU’s staff.

Well take out Ramasar and Bailey's name

Davis tweeted about the dinner but only mentioned Kris Johnson.

Does Todd Ramasar have a Twitter account?

Edited

Ramasar is supposedly one of the biggest Holwand-bashers in this city, always in the ears of ours players to go pro early. I wish video footage of him doing so could somehow surface.

Lavin must have paid him!!

It’s the only logical way to explain it…

And Davis did the hell thing..twice (Clippers/Cleveland)

Does hurt to see a Bruin being a douchebag…

I came to this conclusion 10 years ago....

Glad to see you on board with this. Although accurate, throwing your old coach under the bus is a classless act, but so has his entire NBA career.

Oh Baron, Baron........

Wasn’t him that talked about lacking coaching during the time he played at Pauley ? Boy, I never knew a star athlete his caliber can talk out of both sides of his mouth – just like a cunning kid.

Actually, Baron Davis' not that big of a deal

Russel Dynamo Westbrook takes him to the cleaners everyday in terms of their basketballs, if you ask me.

SMH at all of this.

1) Why Baron? After your stated ‘lack of a coach’ while playing here?
2) Kris Johnson’s appearance means so much more as well. His father Marques Johnson is old Guard; one of Coach’s boys. This to me, speaks of behind the scenes machinations by UCLA power brokers against CBH. Shameless.
3) This is the first I’ve heard of Ramazar. If, as BlueBland states, he is advising our guys to go pro early, he needs to be cut off at the knees. Literally, not figuratively.

Wow! Please forgive the ramblings of a sick man.

I woke up the next morning feeling a little bit better thinking, “did I really just get out of bed to type that?!”
