ICYMI - Stanford Hired a New AD

Stanford just hired it's new AD - Bernard Muir from the University of Delaware. Jon Wilner has the following background:

Muir worked at Notre Dame in 2004-05 when the Irish hired Tyrone Willingham. Muir also counts as a mentor Kevin White, the Irish AD who hired Willingham and one of the most respected administrators in college athletics. (Cal's Sandy Barbour also counts White as a mentor.)

Have to think that either Willingham, who remains close to Stanford officials, or White ... or both ... gave Muir a stellar recommendation.

Oy, recommendation from Willingham? Okay, then.

Still, as UCLA alums we are not in any position to make fun of Stanford given that our clueless AD came from UCI and Cal State Dominguez and had a total of ZERO (0) years of experience when it came to running a legit football or basketball program.

Either way Guerrero remains most the unqualified and overpaid AD in the entire Pac-12 conference if not the country.

GO BRUINS.
