He might already be my favorite Bruin
What a great kid. I just love this interview.
I’ll put up some extended thoughts on this later.

+1
Agree. What a likable kid.
I loved the transition from giving, charitable Mormon to “Come on, man. I tell you, I want to hit somebody bad, man.”
The most impressive part
It was XSF’s humility. An all Pac-10 Freshman LT who was one of the main reasons UCLA actually had a bowl win 2 years ago, was actually “worried” whether a 10-16 program would want him back. Amazing when compared to the sense of entitlement we see from other members of this program in Twitter. I think he will become the heir apparent to ATV and Derrick Coleman. Hope he comes in and can emerge as a leader of an unified program.
I hope he will become
the heir apparent to Jonathan Ogden. Love the kid.
But hey, what do I know. I’m just the 800 lbs bruin in the room.
Ogden was amazing on the field
He is just as awesome off the field. I am using present tense as I am assuming he has remained just as humble, gracious and down to earth as he was back when I got to meet him and know him a bit during college days.
2009 rated by Scouts
as the #9 tackle nationally. He thinks like a man now and I think he will provide some sorely needed leadership and maturity to this squad. Coach Sal Alosi has to be pumped up about the potential strength and conditioning gains these athletes will experience under his NFL style S&C regimen. .
This is a kid I 100% expect to be a captain under Mora.
Maybe for his Junior and Senior year.
Guy has his mind right.
