UCLA Football Recruiting: Ishmael Adams In "Love" With BruinsNation
4 Star corner back Ishmael Adams from football power house Oaks Christian, was one of the first blue chip recruits from Southern California who committed to Coach Jim Mora (switching from California Bears). The commitment at the time was a huge boost for Coach Mora's recruiting efforts. Adams went all in with UCLA helping our staff recruit other high school stars and then he absolutely blew up at the Army All American Game.
We have been keeping track along the way and it appears that Ishmael is keeping an eye on us:
Well back at you Mr. Adams. His subsequent tweets get even better. Let's get to them after the jump.
After Adams posted that tweet at us a Bruin fan (@Estaris) fired this at him (and our account):
@IshmaelLAdams @BruinNation Ishamael you need to bring some of your other friends to the #UCLAGang! I am talkin about Aziz, Bryce & Jordan!
Adams didn't waste any time in responding back:
@EEstaris @BruinNation two steps ahead of you, and hoping to get one more step.
We can't wait to find out about that next step and rest of this recruiting scene.
GO BRUINS.

Ishmael Adams, come on down!
It’s great to get blue chip recruits. It makes us salivate at what can be possible on the field. But give it up for getting quality character guys that want to come in and want UCLA to get to where we want to be!
He’s going to be a big help.
As it says in the bible, Ishmael was Jim Mora's first born :)
BTW, Ishmael died at the age of 137! Long live Adams!!!
A smart man
A good man, indeed! Welcome home, sir!
But hey, what do I know. Iām just the 800 lbs bruin in the room.
I love the fact that one of the first retweets
underneath the originial is Randy Cross.
Flippin love that guy.
Randy Cross "gets it"
He has my vote if he’s ever an AD candidate. Instead of “blogs” or ’What’s wrong with Spaulding?" the man is on Twitter, BN and speaks his mind on TV. Plus he’s a Niner legend.
Dump Dan!

Ismael is reminding me of Kevin Love
He wears his passion on his sleeve.
Winning is not a sometime thing; it's an all the time thing. You don't win once in a while; you don't do things right once in a while; you do them right all the time. Winning is a habit. Unfortunately, so is losing. ~ Vince Lombardi
Ish represents
the new face of Bruin Football. The high character to go with the smarts and the talent. The desire to be the best; the commitment to do the work to be the best and the will to win, no matter what. Impressive.
@bruinclassof10: Randy Cross as AD is a spectacular thought.
