"They showed me the defense they plan to run, which will be a 3-4 but have multiple looks to it. I think I fit in there pretty well as a defensive end and could make a lot of plays."

If there was a shred of doubt left
on the switch to a 3-4 base defense, this ought to take care of it. Luke is likely a Stanford lock, but I found this comment also to be very interesting: “Coach Inoke [Breckterfield] has been recruiting me all year and even though he won’t be coaching the defensive line any more, he said he still plans to stay in a football ops role.”
I was under the impression Inoke left the program.
It will be interesting to see all the positional changes
The 3-4 look will move people around a lot. I’m wondering where guys like Owa will lineup.
I’m still not sure what’s the entire plan for the offense. I know Mazzone spread it out a lot at ASU but it sounds like he’s going to incorporate some pro sets as well.
