I could watch this every. day.
What a difference coaches can make.
49ers. Still Awesome.
I still can’t get over the fact that we’re hosting the NFC Championship game. I thought after that win, we would have to go to Lambeau and take on the Pack.
One more Game, Baby!
These guys are stoked:

Winning is not a sometime thing; it's an all the time thing. You don't win once in a while; you don't do things right once in a while; you do them right all the time. Winning is a habit. Unfortunately, so is losing. ~ Vince Lombardi

Call the SWAT team and the anti-terror squad!
But hey, what do I know. I’m just the 800 lbs bruin in the room.
I'm going to be on an airplane -- hope the pilot will give scores.
I loved this tape — the cuts between fans and plays and the history included.
I would love to see our Rice have some great games. Maybe, in the new offense, he’ll get some chances.
sjh
Sorry...cant jump on this wagon...
I am an old school LA Rams fan ( Deacon Jones, Roman Gabriel et al) and still find the 49ers to be arch enemies…even though I no longer have a team for them to be an enemy against. Cant root for them…
But I can acknowledge the greatness that they demonstrated during the Montana/Young and Rice years…and SF is my favorite city (including NY, but it is close)…
So Go Bruins and whoever wins Sunday…wins!

Agree.
Lifelong L.A. Rams fan until with mid-90s when I renounced Ram fandom after Georgia moved the team. The St. Louis Rams are just another team to me.
Neverthess, I cannot actively root for the Niners. Unfortunately, I don’t really like any of the remaining teams in the NFL playoffs. I’ll watch, but will be rooting for good games, not necessaily a team.

Perfectly understandable
And actually, I prefer fans of other teams like you and Westlake. I can’t stand the average LA fan who instantly jumps on the bandwagon of any team that happens to be good at the moment, claiming that they’ve always been a fan. It’s laughable how many Green Bay Packers fans there suddenly are in Los Angeles. Or Patriots fans. Or U$C fans for that matter (they’re all paid, professional teams).
I admire anybody that is a true fanatic of their team, and sticks with them through the hard times. (I think we can all relate, being here on BN.)
"True fanatics" move to Florida and continue to root for the Yankees and Red Sox
Those guys cannot be converted into Rays fans. It’s just not possible. Alas, the Dodgers lipped into irrelevancy faster than the Bruins. Has anyone checked? Does Chianti Dan have any ownership interest in the Dodgers?
Frontiere....@#&%!!!
Could never get behind the St. Louis Rams…and I really hated John Shaw as well.
Would love for the new team in LA to buy the rights to the Ram name…pipe dream I know, but how great would it be to have the LA Rams back….

I was a Rams fan too
but despite the bitter rivalvry, the Niners seemed like a classy team. I like Harbaugh because he coached at my brother’s school (university of san diego) while he was there and did a great job and always thought he’d be good if he moved up.
I'm not a Niners fan
but this video still gets me excited. Just an incredible game. This video sums up why sports are so great.

+1
Few teams struck fear into their opponents like those Walsh era 49ers… It was impressive to watch…and painful for some of us..

Amen
This video sums up why sports are so great.
I’m a Niners fan because of Bill Walsh. As a Bruin and Rams fan, I remember watching Walsh’s Stanford teams dismantle conservative teams in a New Year’s day bowl.
Walsh had a way of doing the unexpected. He brought art to the game, without forsaking the physical essence. Bill Walsh is the HC I fervently wanted the Rams to hire. But, no. Instead, they gave us Ray Malavasi and John Robinson.
Ever since, it has been very easy to be a Niners fan, and not to care about the Rams.
Awesome read
Did you Niner fans see this article CLICK HERE
It is a great read for anyone who is a Harbaugh fan or just a fan of quality coaching. I love this line:
At least the ones that didn’t quit because he ran the small college team like it was in the NFC West.
Yup, great read
And to think, UCLA could have had him…
But hey, what do I know. I’m just the 800 lbs bruin in the room.
I Have To Admit, Nestor...
You make it tough on us LA Ramfans sometimes.
IMHO, you’ll beat the Giants at home and represent the NFC. Good luck.
Los Angeles Rams and the UCLA Bruins!!!!!

lol - no worries
If a former UCLA player leads Rams backs to playoffs, you should then share it on BN!
