Darius Bell switches to WR
According to Foster (and a few others) on twitter. Probably a smart move, since he clearly was no better than 4th on the QB depth chart. Hopefully he can make an impression

Jerry Rice Jr.
Does anyone know about his situation? Will he be a starter for next season?

He was playing WR on the scout team for much of the season
So not a huge shock to see the move become official. Does look to be the best way to give him a shot at contributing in the fall.

I was thinking he might pull a Drew Bennett
Looks like he used his redshirt last season, so he has two more years of elgibility. Didn’t make sense for him to redshirt if he was going to be on the bench as QB backup for two more years. We are thin at the WR position so he could see some playing time.
I wonder if Thigpen or Jordon James might have the same fate
…I would love to see one of those guys step up into a slot WR role. Talk about wasted talent.
i have a feeling we're gonna see a lot of James next year
he seems tailor-made for Coach Mazzone’s offense, and I’m guessing he’ll find plenty of ways to use his speed

Good for Darius
What a good team player. It takes a lot to swallow one’s ego and be willing to move positions. I’m much happier he did this than transfer. I look forward to seeing his athleticism get a shot on the field.

Bell is an athlete and a playmaker
and his decision gives him the chance to make an impact. I think that Coach Mora and his staff gives players a fresh start to prove themselves as they are new to each other. Perhaps some will find positions more suitable for their strengths to show what they can do. Coach Mora’s NFL perspective will no doubt help players contribute in a meaningful way, with an eye to having a shot playing at the next and final level.
