Wooden's Words An Inspiration Again
Ramona Shelburne, writing on ESPN's blog, has a great story on a group of Ugandan basketball coaches visiting UCLA to study the ideas of John Wooden. (If this has been mentioned before on BN, I missed it, so please excuse me.)
Warning: You may swallow hard and blink back a few tears while reading it.

I don't know if it's ever been mentioned here, but . . .
We aren’t the only University to claim Coach. He was an All American player at Purdue. (He’s the only man to be an All American player and coach.)
Purdue has an amazing web page dedicated to Coach as well as the John R. Wooden Leadership Institute. http://www.purduesports.com/ot/wooden-leadership.html
It is truly touching since Coach has become associated with UCLA basketball. And it shows just what a great man and teacher Coach was.

As seen from the crowd, the last two minutes of UCLA vs. Arizona. Hopefully gives those who were not able to attend an idea of what it was like inside "Old" Pauley for the last time.](http://cdn2.sbnation.com/fan_shot_images/180811/0_small.jpg)
