Tonedeaf Chianti Dan On Bungling of Wooden Classic: "It's complicated"

The UCLA administration and organizers of the Wooden Classic totaly bungled this year's "Wooden Classic" in Anaheim, which should be a game between UCLA and a high profile non conference team. How does Mr. Chianti - "What's wrong with Spaulding" - Dan explain it? Check out these games from the LA Times - article by Plaschke:

"It's complicated," said Dan Guerrero, UCLA athletic director. [...]

"This year was an anomaly," Guerrero said. "The most important thing is that we are moving forward. It is a priority for us to keep Coach's spirit alive."

So his excuse is that this year, which isn't even 6 days old, is an anomaly?

What exactly is moving forward? UCLA Basketball has regressed significantly in the last 4 years.

It does not seem like a priority to Chianti Dan, hence the Wooden Classic's sorry state.

Dan needs to resign NOW. In addition to all of the offenses detailed earlier, failure to keep Coach's spirit alive and maintain the Wooden Classic's reputation should be immediate grounds for dismissal. He can take his straps and Blocks out of Westwood.
