Ok, I've given it a chance. Its probably me, but I think this new format sucks schweaty balls. I'm hoping that SB Nation is open to feedback. What gripes me the most is the layout of the "pages". The most dramatic difference between the old and new format is the conciseness of the old format. I could open the home page in the old format and go anywhere in a keystroke or two. Fanshots and some fanposts were visible on the right side and other Bruin blogs to the left.

Despite Tasser10's effort to explain the new format in " The Bruins Nation 3.0 User Guide". I find it very frustrating that I can't open the home page as in the old format and lets say go to "Inside UCLA" or for that matter see the list of the recent fanposts without having to scroll down several sections. When you do scroll down, there is a tremendous amount of open white space. It gives me the feeling that they have built a website awaiting advertising revenue, that is why there is so much open white space. On a positve note the font size is great if you're in your fifties like me. I find I don't need my cheaters to read the blog.

Because of the format change Bruins Nation in its current format makes for a much more laborious effort to view the information that is relevant to me. To all the frontpagers and participants of this blog this is not about content but of format. In its current form IMHO I/we spend too much time scrolling down to find out what is of interest and in some cases we then have to scan across. I'm not lazy by any stretch, but I do value time.

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of BruinsNation's (BN) editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of BN's editors.
