I have a quick question:
Does every Southern Cal qb in the League sort of suck?
Palmer? Leinart? Cassel? Sanchez?
Leinart is backing up Palmer and has never been good. He's not as good as Alex Smith. Palmer had some good statistical seasons on bad teams, but now is not having a particularly good season on a bad team. Cassel is getting replaced by Brady Quinn this week, according to SI. Sanchez -- he might be the best of the bunch, but would you want him as QB of your team?
Is Matt Barkley going to be better than all these guys? He seems like a (talented) space cadet to me. Good arm, looks like a QB -- doesn't seem to have that laser mind. He's surrounded by great receivers who most college DBs can't guard and he's got a pretty good RB to hand off to. He doesn't seem to be in the same universe as Andrew Luck or RG III as a prospect. So, which NFL team is going to make him their number one pick?
What do you all think?
