Typical UCLA: Celebrity Edition

A few years ago, UCLA caused an uproar when they announced actor James Franco would be commencement speaker. Some students didn't feel he was worthy enough, and began an online petition, which in turn caused Franco to bow out (citing "scheduling conflicts").

Was Franco embarrassed by this shoddy treatment? Well, cut to today, when a certain film school across town proudly announced that Franco will be a guest instructor. Just to add insult to injury: notice that in the LAT article, they have a laundry list of prestigious schools that Franco has attended, but they somehow leave out UCLA, the school where he actually earned a bachelor's degree.

Franco to teach at U$C
