Hi guys! Just wanted to start off by saying I've been reading the site for a few months now, really enjoyed getting know American Football and the Bruins! Watching the Arizona match and reading the comments last week from the other side of the world was awesome and just made me even more excited!
A friend and I are visiting North America in a few weeks, and one of the first things we wanted to tick off was a college football match- of course we went for the lovely Pasadena setting for the Bruins v Stanford match over the crosstown Trojans one! I've trawled online looking for information on how outsiders might go about tailgating, and how to get the whole experience in over the day! We'll be catching the train to Pasadena so won't be able to set up our own tailgate, but how do we go about attending other people's? Do the fraternities or college organisations run parties that anyone can attend? Do they cost money to eat and drink at? Should we buy a pass in advance?
Also was wondering how far in advance do you guys expect the Stanford match time to be announced, just so we can better organise ourselves for the day?
Thanks for your help!
Can't wait to wear my UCLA tshirt and have a few beers before and during the match with everyone :)
