I purchased Holiday Bowl tickets for myself and a guest when they went on sale a couple of weeks back. The tickets were to be picked up at will call at Qualcomm. I received an email from The Den the week before finals stating that, instead of game day pick-up, I can go to the CTO to pick up the tickets before the 21st of December. Mind you, student seating is allotted on a first-come, first-serve basis.

I finally had time to pick up the tickets today and I figured I might get high-up seats because I waited so long to pick them up. I wound up getting seats in View 31 (the very top of Qualcomm). That's pretty high up there. Granted, there seems to be a decent view if you ask me. The problem is that this is supposed to be student seating. You see, I asked the teller if there were any seats for students near the field. He promptly answered "Barely. Most of the [student] seating is high up." Can anyone verify this? Correct me if I'm mistaken, but isn't the majority of student seating supposed to be close to the action? I can see the AD pulling this on the students. Remember #SFatPauley?
