Coach Mora visits Auburn, CA to talk to Vanderdoes

Per the Auburn Journal, Coach Mora made a recruiting trip to Auburn to talk to Placer High Senior Eddie Vanderdoes. Not only is this 6' 3" 303 lb Defensive lineman ranked the number 33 overall prospect out of high school (per ESPN), he also attends my high school alma mater so I have a bit of an emotional interest in watching a fellow Hillman don the blue and gold. While Vanderdoes committed to the Trogans in July, I like our chances to flip him. Watching Mora and the rest of the staff develop our players has convinced many top recruits already that UCLA is the place to personally develop and play for a team that has no excuse to not win a ton of games. The coach at Placer High runs a disciplined, hard-nosed program that has turned the team into a force in the conference (sound familiar??) The Bruins would be a perfect fit for this lineman.

Of course, I could just be dreaming/grieving the end of football season, but I really don't want to think about college basketball right now. I cannot wait for National Signing Day.
