Interesting.....the Brehaut comment
not sure if it is just uneducated (not knowing that he played baseball last year as well) or insightful – maybe he isn’t coming back after whatever kept him out of the bowl game coupled w/ desire to play baseball. Guess we’ll find out soon enough.
I should be working right now...
It's Ted Miller
You can just about guarantee it is an uninformed comment.

I think he’s referring to spring ball, during which brehaut will be playing baseball

Agreed
“Richard Brehaut might not be a factor because he plans to play baseball.” Given that Coach Mora’s stated first priority during spring practice is identifying the starting QB who will be THE team’s leader, Miller is simply pointing out a potential conflict that could impact Brehaut’s opportunity to be THE guy.
This needs to stop spreading.
Brehaut will NOT miss spring ball. He did NOT miss spring ball last year.
Just like last year, FOOTBALL comes first. If there is a conflict with schedule, he goes to the football meeting/practice/lift. That’s exactly how it was last year.

That's great for us
because it means Brehaut will have as good a shot as anyone to become THE guy. Obviously there’s some rumor out there floating around that makes scribes think there might be an issue.
See what happens when a man comes in with a plan?
cough Guerrero cough
And the other great quote..
“We’re going to do what our players do best,” he said. “There is no name for what we do. We’re not pistol. We’re not West Coast. We’re not spread. We’re not wishbone. We’re not this, we’re not that. We’re just going to be a good, fundamentally sound football that takes advantage of the skill sets our players present to us.”
Exactly what we’ve been screaming about… play the best to our talents
