Teofilo Ruiz Receives National Humanities Medal
I had the privilege of learning from Professor Ruiz during my time at UCLA, and I can honestly say I don't think this could have happened to a better instructor or person. Go Bruins.

For those of you in the dark, he’s pretty much the most fantastic professor ever. In the history of professors.
Couldn't be happier for him. Teo is a brilliant professor, but -- more importantly -- also
a fantastic human being.
For those of us who had the opportunity to experience his jam-packed history classes or his summer programs in Paris, this award seems perfectly reasonable if not a bit late.
As I said, couldn’t be happier for him. Good job Professor Ruiz.
