Does 1 class an alumnus make?
Serious question. I know universities claim people that haven’t graduated as alumni.. I personally feel that an alumnus is someone who dedicated significant effort to an institution. Like, Kevin Love = alumnus even though he was only here for 1 year because of the circumstances (he obviously loved UCLA, but left to pursue a career). Shakira = not an alumnus since her only affiliation is a single summer school class taken through UCLA Extension. But still hot & obviously way more into North Campus dudes than South Campus geeks

While summer school/extension is a stretch, I think if you matriculate as a regular student then it counts.
