Mandel is one of the few writers in the national scene who has a good beat on UCLA football. For good reasons he savaged Chianti Dan's hiring process. So it is good to see him recognize Mora's efforts. Mandel did make reference to UCLA being "10 above the 85 scholarship limit." The number is actually around 8 given we took 26 players yesterday, not 28. The numbers will also work out based on natural attrition issues and likely greyshirts in the roster.
