How do you get an AD fired? I mean, the UC system is obviously a huge bureaucracy and it’s difficult to get things done. Who pulls the trigger? Is it just Block? Do alumni have a say? I just don’t get it.
DG has made a million mistakes, but this one really go to me. I'm not sure if this has been posted yet, but here it goes:
What really got me was the USC v. UCLA game when he decided to break tradition and go with the white uniforms. This decision itself was obviously questionable, but that's not even the worse part. Pat Haden was ON TV talking about how he had no idea that DG planned to that - this was a complete suprise to USC. My GF is a USC alumni (I know, I'm a terrible person), and she said the entire stadium was so confused, they barely even booed when the team came out. Later, Haden said “DG sent me a text message that apologized and said they would return to the blue jerseys next year.”
A text message? Really? USC's AD is on air calling you a bum for breaking tradition. Hate the Trogans all you want, but let's be honest, it's nice to see the blue versus the cardinal. Get your butt on TV DG and stand up for your school. A text message might not prove that you're incompetent or bad at your job, but it does prove what type of person you are -- one that is too afraid to stand up for his school in person. Cowards suck.
