UCLA vs. Arizona Sun. Baseball Thread: Big Series Rubber Match

Arizona got game one, UCLA got game two. That means that this huge Pac-12 series, in which first place could be on the line, comes down to one game today. Winner takes the series and if the Bruins win, they will be tied with the Wildcats in the conference. There is still Oregon, though, who are tied with Arizona atop the Pac-12. It's complicated, and early, but what matters right now is that this game, this one game, is gigantic.

Zack Weiss will be on the mound for the Bruins today, making his return to the starting rotation after a bout with shoulder soreness. He worked 4.1 innings of solid relief last week so he proved he's got it back and now we'll get to see how he handles starting again. Opposite him will be James Farris, who has not been great, but he hasn't been bad and he's walked just five all year so UCLA better be ready to hit.

John Ramey is on the road for the weekend so he has the call online and Arizona has their regular streaming videoavailable for those of you who are CBS subsribers. Of course, make sure to check my UCLA baseball twitter for game updates, notes, observations and everything else on the program. This is your open thread for this rubber match so have at it.
