UCLA Gymnastics - NCAA Championships Event Finals Open Thread

After UCLA missed out on #109 by 0.100 of a point, all eyes have now moved to the event finals today in Georgia.

UCLA will have five athletes competing in the event finals today starting at 10am UCLA time.

Elyse Hopfner-Hibbs - beam and floor
Vanessa Zamarripa - bars and floor
Olivia Courtney - bars
Aisha Gerber - bars
Samantha Peszek - beam

Shockingly, not a single Bruin qualified on the vault, UCLA's best event.

Samantha Peszek is the defending NCAA Champion on the balance beam. She scored a 9.90 to qualify, and a 9.95 in the Super Six.

Elyse Hopfner-Hibbs, after an uncharacteristic fall on beam yesterday on an extremely difficult element, will look to repeat her 9.90 from Friday.

Zamarripa had tied for the highest qualifying score from their semifinal for the floor, and she will also be spectacular on bars after her 9.95 yesterday.

Courntey and Gerber have been solid on bars all season long, and both scored a 9.90 to qualify.

If you want to watch, you ESPN3 will be carrying it live. Live stats are here. Feel free to update below with scores!
