UCLA vs. Stanford Sunday Baseball Open Thread: Series On The Line At JRS

Stay connected for news and updates

It comes down to this. Stanford got the opener, UCLA bounced back yesterday. That leaves us with today and one game to determine who wins the series. It's a big series. A very, very big series that will come with several exclamation points next to it on the winner's resume on Selection Monday. It is also a chance to stay right there in the Pac-12 title race. So yes, it's big, if you hadn't heard.

Zack Weiss gets the nod for the Bruins today. He's been throwing the ball well lately, which is encouraging. if he can continue to pitch the way he has recently, UCLA is in good shape, but despite all their power, expect Stanford to lay a couple bunts down. Weiss struggled to field his position last week and the Cardinal know it.

Once again, the weather is gorgeous and it's a great day for baseball, but if you are not out at the ballpark then listen in with John Ramey and Tim Wilhelm, who will have the call online. You can also get all the game updates, notes, observations and all the other goodies from my UCLA baseball twitter. This is your open thread as the Bruins try to take the series so share updates as well as your thoughts and reactions here.
