The #1 ranked U.C.L.A. Women's Golf Team will start their second round today at the Vanderbilt Legends Golf Club just outside Nashville today, and are looking to make up a bit of ground.

The Women had a solid first round yesterday, finishing in a tie for with place after round one, at 4 over par. Details of their day can be found on the official site. Unfortunately, that solid round left them 6 shots behind #2 Alabama, who was the only team to go under par, finishing at -2 on the day. Virginia, Duke, and North Carolina held down spots 2, 3, and 4 respectively. The Bruins will need to do a little more today to back up their number one ranking and to close the gap with the 4 teams ahead of them.

The Bruins have just teed off this morning, and you can follow their progress on the Team Leaderboard and the Individual Leaderboard as they are updated real time throughout the day.

The Bruins will again be playing with the real USC (South Carolina) and the other *$c (those guys) today. Ani Gulugian (So) will tee off first for the Bruins, followed by Tiffany Lua (Jr), Lee Lopez (Jr), Brianna Do (Sr), and Erynne Lee (Fr). Lee and Do led the Bruins yesterday with even par (72) rounds, followed by Lopez at +1, Lua at +3, and Gulugian at +5. The top 4 rounds are used to compute the team score.
