By good pitching, timely hitting or some gifts from USC, UCLA has managed to beat their crosstown rivals time and time again. They have won 18 of their last 23 against the Trojans and as they have turned the rivalry blue, they have also begun putting their stamp on the national scene. We'll see that today at 12:30 pm PT when the Regional hosts are announced by the NCAA and UCLA gets one. The full selection show is tomorrow at 9 am PT.

Before the Bruins can turn their attention to the postseason, they have a regular season finale to play. UCLA would like nothing more than to get a win today and sweep SC and Zack Weiss will be charged with helping the Bruins get that sweep. Opposite him will be Stephen Tarpley, the Trojans' sensational freshman.
