UPDATE: Games will be at 3 pm PT and 7 pm PT on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Monday's if necessary game will be at 7 pm PT.
On Sunday, the NCAA announced that UCLA would be one of the 16 hosts for the Regionals on the weekend of June 1. It marks the third consecutive season that the Bruins will host a Regional, which is quite the accomplishment considering that before this run UCLA had never hosted Regionals in consecutive seasons.
The three teams that will join UCLA at Jackie Robinson Stadium next weekend
will be announced during Monday's Selection Show are San Diego, New Mexico and Creighton, but tickets for the weekend are already on sale for Wooden Club members, who should have received an email for the presale this evening. For everybody else, all-session tickets will go on sale on Monday at 10 am PT and single-session session tickets will go on sale on Friday.
Tickets can be purchased online via the UCLA Central Ticket Office. All-session reserved tickets are $80 for adults and $65 for youth and students. All-session general admission tickets are $55 for adults and $40 for youth and students.
The Regional will begin on Friday and continue with doubleheaders on each day through Sunday. There wil be a single game on Monday if necessary. Game times are scheduled to be at 3 pm PT and 7 pm PT each day with Monday's possible game at 7 pm.
Kudos to the athletic department and ticket office for having things ready to go with clear information, a presale and a well planned ticket plan. They have really improved things from the previous two years and have done an exceptional job.
