The ninety three year old Mrs. Gilbert, fondly labeled Mama G by her students at Palisades High School, recently donated one million dollars to upgrade that school's auditorium. This is already the second time she donated. Last time she did so, it was in the amount of 1.6 million to built an aquatic center at the school in memory of her late daughter

She is spry for her age, speaks articulately, refreshingly earnest about her English class and looks sharp, professional than many teachers one third her age even.

The commentator referred to her late husband as real estate developer, and said she lived frugally.

Mama G has all the right stuffs.
