I realize Danny G. isn't the most popular guy around here, but if he had anything to do with John Speraw's hiring (and it's entirely possible that he may not have), then kudos to him. Speraw is a Bruin alum and one of the best coaches in the world. UCLA was able to pay him enough and make him satisfied enough that he also turned down an offer to be the main man for the national team, USA Volleyball.

This is massive news and a true homerun hire, fellow Bruins, so don't let feelings toward DG put a damper on your enthusiasm for this.
