Chicago Cub legend Ernie Banks is famous for the saying, "Let's play two".
The Bruins will honor Mr Cub with a pair of practices on Monday. The first session will begin at 8:30 am and the evening session goes off at 5:30 pm. The Bruins got several players back on the field yesterday, notably TE Joseph Fauria, WR Shaq Evans, and RB's Malcolm Jones and Jordan James. Coach Mora said yesterday he is looking forward to getting a few more of the OL back over the next few days, as well.
We'll use this fan post as our open thread today's practices. Now that the Olympics have ended, you really have no excuse to be at home, so get out to CSUSB and follow our Bruins. We have all really appreciated the comments from those who have gotten out to practice for a first hand account. Those of us watching over the internet appreciate your insight! Keep it going!
You can keep track of the practice times here.
If you are heading to CSUSB (5500 University Parkway, San Bernadino CA 92407), you should plan on brining your own chairs, as there are no bleachers around the practice fields. Parking in a $5 daily charge and can be secured at the parking kiosk off the Coyote Drive entrance to the University. Plenty of parking is available (Lot G is closest to the practice field) within a short walk of the practice site located on the east side of the campus.
If anyone is heading out to San Berdoo, please share your thoughts on what you have seen, whether it be a few words while you are at the field or after getting home or to the dorms later this afternoon. For the rest of us, jump in with your thoughts on UCLA football, position battles you're looking at with practice about to start, what you're hoping to see by the end of camp, etc.
Fire away.
GO BRUINS!
