The sun will rise in the east and set in the west.
U$C will cheat.
The Bruin Touchdown Club will meet at 7 am the Friday before every home game.
This is one of those things you kind of take for granted. Until it's gone.
Well folks, it's coming to an end.
More after the break.....
I know that a lot of folks here don't care for Geoff Strand. But, whether you love him or hate him, he bleeds Blue and Gold like the rest of us.
Even if you hate having him at games dressed up the way he does, you can't say that he doesn't love our team.
Well, something he has done for the past 35 years is put together the Bruin Touchdown Club breakfasts.
These have been an opportunity for folks to meet with players and coaches before each home game. Typically, different players and coaches would come to each breakfast.
And, while $30 for breakfast may be pricey for some, it's still been a longtime tradition and you hate to see them go away.
Why is it going away? Apparently, the practice schedule which has been set forth is going to make it impossible for coaches and players to join the fans for breakfast as in years past.
So, as of right now, there will only be one Bruin Touchdown Club breakfast this year and it will be on Friday September 7th. The featured guests for that breakfast will be the Bruin radio team of Chris Roberts and Matt Stevens.
If you are interested in being there, please visit the Bruin Touchdown Club website.
