Dear Dish Network:
I have been a Dish Network customer for over 10 years. One of the reasons that I chose Dish was because of the availability of the Fox Sports package. With the Fox Sports package, I have been able to watch my two favorite sports, UCLA football and UCLA basketball, for the last 10 years, even though I live in Florida.
With this in mind, and seeing that many future UCLA sporting events will now be televised on the new Pac 12 Networks, beginning with the September 15, 2012, UCLA vs. Houston football game, I am disappointed that Dish Network does not have a deal in place with the Pac 12 Networks.
On the contrary, Brighthouse, which is the major cable operator in my area and which already provides my internet service, does have a deal with the Pac 12 Network.
Simply stated, if I cannot watch the Pac 12 Network on Dish Network, I will no longer be a Dish Network customer. The Pac 12 Network goes live on August 15th.
The first UCLA game to be televised on the Pac 12 Network will be shown on September 15th. The game is 40 days away. I will be watching that game at home, in Florida, notwithstanding which company is providing me with the feed.
Thank you for your consideration.
Very truly yours,
