Time for another Friday Night Lights open thread. Tonight there is an interesting game on tap as Washington State is taking on UNLV (in Vegas) on ESPN. If you are hanging out in front of the tube this game is worthwhile to watch. After all we are talking about Mike Leach and Wazzu is on our schedule this season. They have been sputtering on offense a bit but I am guessing they will get it going soon.
We are also going to use this thread to share some quick notes on our game watching parties. The game is going to be on Pac-12's national network (except for those living in Arizona, who will get to watch South Carolina State visiting Arizona (oy). If you have DirectTV it sounds like you are still out of luck. The best you can do for now is to keep contacting them by using this tool on our official site ... or ... well just drop Direct TV.
As for the others - living in major cities - we know of few gatherings as usual, which I will share after the jump.

If you live in Southern California area - and you haven't done it already - make plans to be at the Rose Bowl in your Bruin Blue.
