Tips on tailgate, parking, traffic - first time back at Rose Bowl since '01

My brother and I will be attending our first Rose Bowl game since college. After graduation I skipped town for my career and got used to the alumni bar circuit. But, now I'm back and excited for my first game since 2001.

I went to a lot of games back then but I don't that much. Well, I do remember Freddie Mitchell chugging a beer on the freeway that somebody handed to him from the drunk bus. We were stuck in traffic, he was injured so not with the team and he leans half way out of the car, shotguns the beer, slams it on the freeway, and shouts Go Bruins.

Ok, other than that my memory is real foggy. I can't believe how good we were back then and how much I drank :)

Can y'all catch me up on the latest parking situation? Any traffic boondoggles to avoid? Best way to tailgate and any new lame rules they have?

Also, any groups, large or small, planning on tailgating that we can try to join up with?
