Question for Chianti: Why do UCLA Players Stand on Rose Bowl's Sunny Side?

Why do our players stand on the sunny side of the Rose Bowl. Especially during day games our players spend more time in the full sun than our 'guests' My guess would be easier access to the locker room but would seem to be a disadvantage especially on hot days like last Saturday.

Is this another Chianti Dan issue or can Coach Mora make a change. Would seem to make sense to have our players benefit from the shade created by the press box. Anyone know the answer here ?
