Rumblin', Stumblin' and Bumblin': The Johnathan Franklin Heisman Campaign

Bumped. Folks don't forget to VOTE for JETSKI as the national player of the week (HT BruinJD). GO BRUINS. - BN Eds.

The old Chris Berman quote can be used to describe multiple things.

You can use it to describe how a RB keeps pushing through for more yards....Kinda like how Johnathan Franklin delivered his second consecutive 200+ yard game. That covers the rumblin' and stumblin'.

The Bumblin'? That's left to describe the UCLA Athletic Department...Kinda like how yesterday's game was almost a road game in our home stadium due to the number of Nebraska fans there.

More after the jump.....

So, the question that we, the Bruins Nation, MUST answer is this:

Do we trust the UCLA Athletic Department to start a Johnathan Franklin Heisman Campaign or do we start one ourselves?

I think the answer is clear.

We have to step up because we cannot trust our Athletic Department to do it.

Those Barkley billboards were designed with the purpose of promoting Barkley for the Heisman.

Our team has an opportunity in front of them to do the same thing the Trogans are trying to do: go undefeated into the Crosstown Rivalry on November 17th, which could then pit two Heisman Hopefuls against each other.

But, I'm getting a little bit ahead of things....

We do, however, need to start a marketing campaign for Johnathan Franklin immediately because the folks that brought you "The football monopoly is officially over" haven't shown that they have very good timing.

So, what do we need to do?

For starters, we need someone to set up a website filled with JF video clips. It needs to be 100% pro-Franklin and 0% negative toward other contenders.

Then we need to start working the social media. Facebook and Twitter pages have already been set up. Go LIKE and FOLLOW them respectively. Then let all your friends and followers know about them.

That will get the ball rolling.....

I'm sure other folks will have some ideas on what else we can do to help Jetski become our second Heisman winner. Please share them in the comments.

UPDATE: Just a quick update to encourage everyone to use the hashtag #Franklin4Heisman when tweeting. The Twitter account that has been setup is @JF23_4_Heisman because @Franklin4Heisman was too long.
