A letter to Pat Forde and Yahoo

I find the whole Shabazz Gucci-gate to be offensive and I wanted to post an email that I sent to Pat Forde and Yahoo:

"So, when you take a cheap shot at his sister by saying she deleted the tweets, do you ever consider that since it's up for investigation that maybe she has to shut up and that could be the reason she deleted the tweets? Instead your reference to her deleting tweets infers that she is lying or hiding something. You do know her sister is a pro tennis player with Adidas sponsorship and maybe money is not an issue. This type of journalism I find extremely offensive as it also infers that just because he is black that he is poor and having a Gucci backpack is beyond him.

There's a ucla football player named Justin who rolls in a Maybach and there is surely no way he can afford that. I'm surprised compliance is not all over that. Oh wait, his dad is P Diddy and I guess that's the only way a black youth can afford such an extravagance (by having a rapper as a father).

Instead of inferring baseless accusations maybe you and your other so called "journalists" should try to do some fact checking first. Otherwise, we will have another Manti Teo fiasco. Seriously, where is your or yahoo sports journalistic integrity? Oh wait, Yahoo is controlled by ivy educated white people so I guess that gives it instant credibility.
