WSJ Valuation of College Football Programs- We're #8 !!

In the conference. Ouch.

The Wall Street Journal publishes an annual listing of valuations by a finance prof. The absolute numbers are presumably subject to valuation issues. But the relative numbers are interesting.

The top ranked Pac-12 program is Oregon, which comes in #19 in the country, followed at #20 by Washington. The other Pac-12 teams fall out as follows-

Colorado, $C, ASU, Stanford, Arizona, UCLA (#45 in the country), Utah, Oregon St, Cal, WSU

This is another data point in the mismanagement rampant in Chianti Dan's reign of error. We are the premier university in the 2nd largest city in the country, we play our home games in the most storied stadium. And thanks to the sandwich board approach to marketing, and the pitiful succession of head coaches hired by Chianti Dan, we are in the bottom half of the conference when it comes to the value of our brand.

Thanks for nothing Dan. And thanks for nothing Chancellor Block also, for allowing the athletic department to leave money on the table year after year after year.
