All new students get free tickets to Friday Night Lights

I'm back at UCLA as a 2016 Anderson FEMBA. I received an email that all new students (undergrad, transfers, grad, etc.) receive free tickets to the Friday night's game.

As a season ticket holder for the past 8 years, this really doesn't impact me, but I think that it is a great move by the school and athletic department. They even mentioned the rooter bus for $7 a pop to get to the rosebowl.

However.....No mention of the blackout in the email (shocker).

See below for the email:

Join us for New Student Free Day at UCLA Football! As a first year UCLA student, you get a FREE TICKET to the game!
