During Friday night's game, my roommate and I kept commenting on how badly we wanted those Black UCLA jerseys. We loved them, we want them. We want to spend money on UCLA gear!! Being out in Denver getting to the UCLA store is a trek, and by what I had read on this site, pickings were not existent at the store anyways. Surely the online store would have the new gear a fan could purchase, right? RIGHT?! While disappointed about not seeing anything online when the game was on, I was still slightly optimistic; thinking the UCLA online store would go live with LA Midnight gear after the game to take advantage of a big win and a hyped out fanbase. I emailed the store if there were plans of adding gear online. The store's response:
"We do not currently have any more LA Midnight jerseys available online, and I don’t believe we will be receiving any more. You would want to contact our sales floor at (310) 206-0810 to see if they have any in stock, as they are able to arrange shipments."
Wait, WHAT?! C'mon!!!!!!! Seriously! I know I'm not alone in my request, there is a demand...what the heck is marketing thinking? How hard is it to order more? If the store doesn't want to take the risk on a block order, black the LA Midnight gear special, print to order items. Bah! I guess I'll take my chances heading to the store when I'm in town for Thanksgiving, but this is severely disappointing. I bet if I went to the Oregon online store, I can buy every hideous jersey they've rolled out this season.
