Happy Thanksgiving everyone. And to add a little cheer to our day I thought it would be fun to relive some of the schadenfreude from last year's game at the Rose Bowl. While we won't get to enjoy watching that smirk on Matt's face being smacked to the ground, they are still the Trojans (or is it Trogans) and it is always a joy to watch them beaten down. So as we get ready for this game, let's enjoy some moments from last year's 1st quarter put together by puntingiswinning.  I can't remember ever feeling so much joy.   My title for the highlights would be : Singin in the Rain (because I was):

Thanksgiving Week CFB Games to Watch:

Thursday Evening Games: Tonight might be the last game for Coach Mack Brown in Austin as they take on Texas Tech. The Longhorns still have at least one more game against Baylor and are still in the Big 12 race. In the SEC, Ole Miss heads to Mississippi State for the Egg Bowl. Here are your games and times:

  • Stillman at Alabama State, 1 PT, ESPNU
  • Texas Tech (7-4) at Texas (7-3), 4:30 PT, Fox Sports 1

Friday Games: The Friday after Thanksgiving is always a great day for football. Forget Black Friday and settle down in a comfortable chair and enjoy. The Civil War will take place today and we will see if Oregon cares. The Beavers will travel to Eugene for this year's game which airs at 4 pm (PT) on FS1. Iowa will be heading to Nebraska to take on a new favorite team of ours. Go Big Red! This game airs at 9 am (PT) on ABC.
