Thur./Fri. Night Lights: CFB Open Thread

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

It has been a great week for UCLA football. We reclaimed the city title and saw our head coach leverage support for the football team. Coach Mora showed his true commitment to doing everything he can to return us to the elite program we are meant to be. We hired a new RB coach that some think is the best in the country. We have seen u$c try to grab our outstanding OL coach Adrian Klemm (and hopefully failing). We may not be in this year's championship game, but we have still had one heck of an exciting week.

So for those of you watching Thursday and Friday night championship games this is your open thread. And for any of you that would like to organize a Pac-12 championship watch party in your area, use the comment section to get it started.

To get things started, I really need to see the celebration again, don't you?

God it was great experiencing this again. And it was made even better when Pat Hayden's move at Southern Cal helped our Coach get what he needed out of Gene and Dan to give our football program what it needs and deserves. The Coaches and players have worked so hard to change the culture. As a fan and someone who loves my Bruins, I just want to thank them for their tremendous work, commitment, passion, and talent. Dang, Saturday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday...were just so much fun.

Thursday and Friday feature the AAC and MAC Championship Games. There are Heisman hopefuls in both games and possibly the #1 draft pick in Teddy Bridgewater in tonight's game.

Thursday.: #19 Louisville at Cincinnati, 4:30 pm PT, ESPN, featuring Teddy Bridgewater for the AAC Championship

Friday: Bowling Green vs. No. 14 Norther Illinois, 5pm PT on ESPN2 featuring Heisman candidate Jordan Lynch for the MAC Championship.

You can see the entire Championship Week Football schedule here via sbnation.

Enjoy your week!
