The PACthetic 12 conference continues to do its best to let UCLA have a chance to win the conference. UCLA (9-4)is tied in the loss column with Arizona and Oregon (both 11-4). Thus today USC game at 12:30 on Fox Sports is a must win. A loss would send UCLA down to tied with Cal and really hurt the NCAA tournament chances. Of course, if UCLA had merely beat USC (12-14 overall this season) the first time they played, UCLA would be in first place by themselves. As Nestor explained this game should be a win for UCLA every time. Unfortunately under Ben Howland, that has not been true often enough.

UCLA goes into this game without an injured Travis Wear but no one should accept excuses from Howland. While most are going to say play the raw Tony Parker a lot more, I would rather see some Shabazz Muhammad at 4 when Kyle is out and more minutes from Norman Powell. Ironically it was not SUC's Centers that killed UCLA last time.
