Blaming Others, SUC style

I think I can speak for everyone here when I say that Jim Mora has done an excellent job across the board with recruiting. Not just having good 4 and 5 star athletes, but also stealing key recruits from the University of South Central. As expected, a plethora of articles have been written across ESPN, LA Times, Bleacher Report - just to name a few. All Trogan fans have been complaining left and right, that the only reason Mora is successful is because of the sanctions. I'm not surprised. They're blaming others and not willing to accept that their program is crippling. But instead, they're saying we're "lucky" because of their situation.

What these guys continuously fail to understand, especially the so-called fans that jumped into the Pete Carroll bandwagon during the last decade, is that training, conditioning, and development is what makes champions. You don't buy Champions, you create them. If you try to buy them...well look at *$C, now they can't buy too much, can they? If anyone took the time to read up about John Wooden, his first championship was not from high caliber athletes. He took seemingly average players and pushed them to not give up, and kept pushing until they had reached their max potential. It was never about being better than the next guy, it is about pushing yourself to do the best you possibly could - and that's something each athlete has to be honest with him or herself about. What inevitably happens is that the athlete will propel past his "great" opponents that had false confidence of their abilities. It's simple - those losers across town don't have that kind of mentality right now, that's why they're being cry babies.
